I simply adore this beautiful 1929 sculpture by Henrique Moreira of a nude girl smiling in an endless charming romantic style to all of those passing by in downtown Porto. It’s freshness and perfection make it seem as if this young girl is alive and about to speak to you. That is probably the reason why here in Porto we call it simply “Nude Girl”, although the name that his author, an important Portuguese sculptor, gave it was “Youthness”. You can find it in the city’s most central avenue, Aliados.
